Project Shofar

The American Jew is the most endangered species in our exile. Like the European Jew in the thirties, today's American Jew feels no desire to leave his home. It seems more prudent to sit on the sidelines and just wait for the redemption to unfold. To do so, however, would be to shirk a vital responsibility. While nothing can stop the Zionist process, as it is a Divine one, our refusal to recognize it and work with it will bring forth much needless pain and suffering, G-d forbid. It is for the purpose of trying to prevent this awful consequence that Project Shofar has been established.
